University of Novo mesto encourages international mobility of academic and non-academic staff:
Twice a year the University of Novo mesto organises the Erasmus+ Staff Week for staff from foreign partner institutions:
Staff interested in exchange at UNM during the staff week should contact their home institution's International Office to check if there is an agreement in their subject area and if there is funding available for their visit.
If there is an inter-institutional agreement in place covering staff exchanges, the member of staff can request their home institution to nominate them for a staff visit (deadline: at least 30 days before the actual mobility).
The incoming teaching / non-teaching staff is obliged to deliver their proposed curriculum (for teaching), i.e. work plan (for training) to the University's Office for International Relations at the following email address: international.office@uni-nm.si at least 14 days before actual mobility.
If mobility is possible, a signed work plan and an invitation letter are delivered to the incoming participant.
Incoming mobile participants are obliged to request financial support from their sending organisation for their stay at the University, and they need to have valid health insurance during their stay in the Slovenia.
Staff members can stay at:

Nikolina Topolko, Associate Expert for Science and International Cooperation, University North, Croatia:
»My name is Nikolina Topolko, I work as an Expert Associate for Science and International Cooperation in the Department of Science and Art at the University North in Varaždin (Croatia). From 7 to 11 March 2022, I completed an Erasmus+ mobility programme for the purpose of training at the University of Novo mesto in Slovenia at the Faculty of Health Sciences. I applied for Erasmus+ mobility to gain and improve my knowledge and experience with examples of good practise from another institution related to my field of work. I am grateful to all the staff of the University for welcoming and hosting me so kindly and for their efforts to make my stay at the University and in Novo mesto as pleasant, high quality and interesting as possible. My special thanks go to the international Erasmus+ coordinator Sabina Krsnik, the Vice Rector for Development and Research Professor Dr Karmen Erjavec, and to Ms Mateja Šimec and Ms Kristina Rakuša Krašovec. Go dare to look at the way other universities and their staff work and make new acquaintances and wonderful friends. Until another collaboration! Thank you very much!« |
Agnieszka Saran-Jagodzińska, PhD, University of Applied Sciences in Konin, Poland:
»I am an assistant professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, in University of Applied Sciences in Konin and my trip under the Erasmus+ program took from 9 to 13 May 2022. I talked to students of nursing at the School of Health Sciences Novo mesto in Slovenia about the interaction of drugs with food, as well as the benefits and risks of dietary supplementation. The lectures were accompanied by a discussion on scientific topics, but also on the work of nurses and life in Poland. Slovenia is a beautiful country where people are kind and cheerful, the nature is delightful, and the cuisine is wonderfully delicious. I recommend this university to everyone and it's a wonderful place.« |
