University of Novo mesto comprises 4 faculties and 18 study programmes:
FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND INFORMATICS
The Faculty is an excellent choice for the future, as its two study programmes integrate the field of informatics and computer science with the field of management and business or economics. Its graduates are immediately employable in the fast-changing society, in which the above-mentioned knowledge is a foundation for successful work in all structures of the economy and public administration.
FACULTY OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
Through its study programmes the Faculty educates, researches and advises in the field of the management and operation of economic and non-economic entities; it trains students for environmental protection and management; develops environmental literacy; encourages rational use of space and natural resources; builds responsibility in spatial and environmental management.
FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES
In recent decades, the relationship between society, the health system, patients and relatives has been undergoing changes. The Faculty is responding to these increasingly complex changes with its eight accredited study programmes at all three cycles, thus becoming a centre of knowledge in the field of health sciences.
FACULTY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The Faculty offers a multidisciplinary study of technology with an emphasis on mechanical engineering contents. It produces Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the first cycle, which is one of the most sought-after professions judging from the needs of Slovenian industry.
