Erasmus days 2025

As part of this year's Erasmus Days, the University of Novo mesto hosted the Erasmus Info Day, which attracted significant interest from students eager for new international opportunities. The aim of the event was to present the possibilities for studying and undertaking traineeships abroad offered by the Erasmus+ programme, and to give students firsthand insight into the experiences of their peers who had already participated in mobility.

The event provided students with information on:

• the application procedure for mobility,
• eligibility criteria and participation requirements,
• opportunities for study and traineeships in various European countries,
• financial support available through Erasmus+.

Particular attention was drawn to the presentation of student experiences, where returning Erasmus participants shared their impressions and recommendations. Their stories offered visitors valuable insight into the academic and personal benefits of mobility, helping prospective applicants gain a realistic understanding of what studying or training abroad entails—from academic responsibilities to cultural integration and personal development.

The atmosphere at the event was highly encouraging. Students asked numerous questions, sought additional information, and showed great interest in the opportunities offered by Erasmus+. There was also strong demand for individual consultations with Erasmus+ coordinators, who were available throughout the day for personalised guidance.

The University of Novo mesto has observed a growing interest in international mobility, reflecting students' strong motivation to broaden their horizons, acquire new competencies, and develop intercultural skills that are essential for success in today's global environment.
