From May 13 to 17, 2024, the International Staff Week took place at the University of Novo mesto, where we hosted more than 25 colleagues from Poland, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Turkey. In addition to numerous individual lectures for students, on Tuesday the participants listened to a guest lecture by Marja Koren on the inclusion of various vulnerable groups in Erasmus+ mobility programs, and in the interactive workshop World Café, they exchanged opinions, presented examples of good practice, and worked intensively in groups on future cooperation. A tour of Ljubljana followed in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, the guests introduced their culture, higher education institutions, and their work to the employees and students in a presentation called GoAbroad Journey. The presentation was followed by a presentation of typical products and sweets, the so-called GoAbroad Fair, where students and staff could taste delicacies from abroad, look at brochures, and take the opportunity to talk to the guests and give them direct information for the Erasmus+ exchange. A gala dinner followed in the evening.

On Thursday, the participants attended the 13. International Conference Challenges of Globalization and the Socio-Economic Environment of the EU or observed the activities of the medical unit of the Slovenian army.

On Friday, the participants took part in the University Day activities prepared by the students at the University of Novi mesto. Finally, further cooperation activities were presented, and the participants ended the International Staff Week in a convivial atmosphere at a picnic.
