1st International Staff Week 2022

From 14 to 18 November 2022, the University of Novo mesto hosted seven lecturers and experts from the European Union and Türkiye, who delivered knowledge transfer, experience sharing and exchange of ideas through lectures, interactive workshops, and artistic and scientific events. Their presence strengthened mutual cooperation, which is one of the core principles of Europe as it aspires toward a knowledge-based society, competitive advantage for European graduates, employees and researchers, and stronger global comparability.

The University of Novo mesto is an internationally active institution that, through its teachers, researchers, students and administrative staff, actively participates in the common European higher education and research area. It is connected with numerous universities across Europe and encourages its members to establish links with specialised higher education institutions. The international role of the University of Novo mesto is also highly significant at both national and regional levels, where internationalisation is an important driver of openness in teaching and work processes—an area strongly supported by visiting academic staff and international students.
